John Whitley, Executive Chairman and Founder
John Whitley is Executive Chairman and Founder of The Steritech Group, Inc., North America's premier brand protection services provider.
A native of South Africa, John got his start in the pest management industry working for his family's wood preservation business. In 1978, John moved to the United States to serve as President of a major international pest control company's U.S. operations. After 18 years, John left that firm to start Steritech in 1986. "We felt that we wanted to start a company where the focus was on people," John says. "People deliver the service and are what makes an organization great." John was at the helm of Steritech until 2005, when he appointed current CEO Mark Jarvis. As Executive Chairman, John continues to play an active role in the company as an advisor, leading company initiatives and chairing key events.
